It absolutely matters. That would be one run closer to coming back.

No, the yellow is there for a reason. I'm just not sure if it hits yellow period it's a homerun, or if it has to hit the top of the yellow.

Tonight? Who knows. Pros at work, I defer to their "professional" expertise. Go with the call on the field, doesn't matter.

I sill think it hit the green behind the fence. But like I said, it really doesn't make a difference

No it really doesn't matter. I'd almost rather their pitcher throwing from the stretch.

That fence is line 15 feet behind the wall...

No derp. It hits the yellow then skips to the green then back into the park. There is no way the ball bounces up without it hitting the top of the wall

It has to completely clear the wall. Hitting the very top of the yellow and bouncing back in is considered a ball in play

It never cleared the yellow line.

If it hits off the top, it's a homerun. So Pivey was pretty much right that it has to clear the wall, since if it hits off the top it's likely going out anyways.

We had a similar occurrence happen at Founders Park.

Explain the science of a ball bouncing up if it doesn't hit the top

If it hits the top, it's a homerun. It happened in Founders Park a month ago
