Just because they were also over-rated when you played them doesn't mean they were actually that difficult. They were 8-5 teams, all 3 of them.

Miss St beat 0 teams that were ranked at the end of the year, and lost to every final ranked team they played.

Yeah, but how are you supposed to know that at the time, lol. Auburn was fresh off a natty appearance and was 5–0 going into the MSU game. They then won two more after, including against a #4 Ole Miss team to be 7–1. No one thought "well, looks like Auburn is winning maybe eight games total this year" after the State loss. Likewise, #6 TAMU started 5–0. You can only work with the information you have at the time.

MSU started 9–0, and their first loss was by five points on the road to a playoff bound Alabama team.

I didn't say Alabama should have been #1,

Ok. Again. Based on what was known at the time of the first ranking… who should have been #1? Then just simply justify it. You keep using the word “obviously”. Well… this should be simple.

I said Alabama was obviously better than Miss St.

At the initial ranking? Actually no. It wasn’t. UA had lost to the only ranked team they had played.

Nothing to be upset about because someone mentions you were obviously over-ranked.

Just like any time from now on where UA is ranked ahead of GA. Since they are apparently better. Vegas says it. Advanced stats indicate it. And UA sidewalkers know it. LSU will pass by in due time.

Bama once added 5 NC’s cause sone old frick decided it sounded good. The 41 flag they fly they lost 3 fricking games. The most pathetic thing is it’s Alabama Football reaching for that shite. I mean WTF? You are Southern Royalty and you wear shite with 17 on it. It’s fricking embarrassing.

By the time the first rankings came out, Texas A&M wasn't even ranked. LSU was 7-2 and ranked #19. Only Auburn was still ranked high, however Auburn had many close games before then which let everyone know they weren't the team they had been. They barely escaped Kansas St.

If you want to play this game, then Florida St was coming off an actual national championship and was also 7-0.

At any rate, if you looked beyond the records and looked at advanced stats, or just watched the games, you could have just seen for yourself that they were that caliber of a team.

Just because hindsight exists, it doesn't mean people couldn't see it at the time. It's just the way they do this crap, highest record and then the tie breaker is SoS/SoR. It's supposed to be best teams, but simpletons can never accept that the best team might not be the undefeated team, it might be that 1 loss team, as the best team doesn't always win.

No, it's not.

Count them any way you want, Alabama still has the most.
