Who is more fraudulent?

MSU lost like 5 in a row to end the year but they also didnt give up 63 points to USCjr after spending two weeks begging to rematch UGA.

Debate.

The voters who don't know what the frick they are remotely doing who put them there to start with.

Both of them were obviously wrong at the time.

Why are Georgia fans so insecure?

Debate.

MSU knows they are MSU.

Tenner thinks it's still 1998.

Still only two #1 ranked CFP teams to fail to make the playoffs, so congrats on that.

Tennessee. Without Hooker, Vandy will give them a good game. With the way Vandy is playing, I wouldn’t be surprised if Vandy didn’t win…and become bowl eligible.

State finished 10-3 after a 9-0 start.

Lost close games to Bama (25-20) and Ole Miss (31-17). Both on the road.

Tennessee has been blown out by UGA and Scar. Both on the road.

State was not a fraud. Just lost a couple of tough games at the end of the year. Plus we did not give up 63 to a conference opponent.

If Alabama had done exactly what MSU did in 14 and wasn’t #1, there would have been worse melting than TSIO this year.

Now with you current state of mind… go back and review some of the titles UA claims.

State lost 2 that season. They went to the Orange Bowl and got boatraced by the surprise ACC Champ, Georgia Tech, though.

You are thinking of the We Believe season. Where we started 7-0 and finished 8-5. Had a back loaded schedule similar to what we are seeing from Ole Miss this year.

It's not missing Hooker that's the problem. It's missing Banks. Same as last night.

State rightly got to #1 due to a confluence of events. Beating 3 consecutive (at the time) top 10 teams while most everyone else lost a game, except for FSU (which was barely scraping by bad to mediocre ACC teams).

Well there's a truth. It's also true that we earned it with our wins but this is a shite on Tennessee thread not a truth for everyone thread.

First, I think most Alabama fans at this point don't give a shite about rankings at the start of November. Thus, there would likely be no melting.

And while that was a good Miss St team, especially by Miss St standards/history, it was obvious you weren't #1 good.

The teams you beat that were ranked at the time, turned out to be not so great.

#2 Auburn, #6 Texas A&M and #8 LSU all finished unranked with 8-5 seasons.

The first good team you played, you lost. In fact, Miss St lost to every team it played who actually finished ranked on the year.

Speaking of Alabama titles, Alabama would go on to win one that year.

Tenner was like a BB team that hits like 20 3's a game & beats everyone by 30... until they have a cold night.

Doesn't explain how they gave up 63 to USC (forever indebted Cocks). That was pure karma.

One would think the baseball & basketball lessons would translate, but thankfully they hit the reset button every season.
