A&M will probably not win the NC next year, probably won't even win the SEC West. That said, anyone who denies that A&M is rightly included among the early contenders is a fricking dumbass.

To give evidence of my last post, see today's preseason prediction by Dennis Dodd.
Again, A&M will probably not win the SEC West, and they will probably not win the NC. But to act like A&M is not on the short list of teams thought to be contenders is just fricking stupid.

yall had a great end to the season, but yall are putting way too much weight on preseason rankings. they don't mean shite. see last year with So Cal being #1. how about when Auburn won the NC in 2010? they started ranked like #22 and no one was putting them on the "short list" of contenders from what I recall.
no one knows how next season will play out and worrying about being "on the short list of teams thought to be contenders is just fricking stupid."
