I have Ole Miss as a breakout team. Think theyre poised to take LSU's spot for third in the west.

This little nugget. I'm pretty sure LSU finished second in the west in 2012.

I was talking about how the teams finished the season. Even if LSU held the tiebreaker for 2nd in the division, I don't think anyone would argue tha Texas A&M was the second best team in the west this year, and certainly not looking ahead to 2013. That's all I was saying there.

With that logic, there are some who say A&M would beat Bama again if they played. So, where did Bama finish?

Yeah but that would be a minority opinion, certainly after the complete domination that Alabama showed on Monday night. Alabama finished 1st, where I project them to finish next year.

Alabama dominated Notre Dame, as would about six SEC teams. Bama, with all the well-earned trophies, isn't head and shoulders above the top SEC teams. It's a lot closer than most people think.

Anyway, you show LSU beating @Georgia and only winning two more games. Seems odd.

That's right. I think LSU starts off fine going 3-0 during the soft early part of the schedule but is then quickly exposed when they hit the meat grinder that is the second half of their schedule, including disappointing losses to rivals Ole Miss and Arkansas to finish 3-5. I'm worried about the inept LSU offense continuing to struggle once the inevitable drop off happens with all of the defense going pro. I also worry about leadership with so many underclassmen leaving and wonder what this means about Miles' overall control of the program. Think there's potential for things to get ugly down there next year.

I just think that with LSU losing key contributors on every level of the defense, they are not going to be as good. I think the inexperienced secondary will struggle because the pass rush will take a step back. I also don't think they'll be as good at stopping the run without logan and minter. And the offense was terrible this year, see no reason that will change, especially with Faulk going pro.

LSU beat Bama in the reg. season in 2011. I'm sure there were some that felt LSU would do it again later that season....

Faulk was not part of the offense this year. Yes, his loss hurts but LSU has done it before. While the defense loses a ton, LSU, perhaps more than most, rotates a number of players. In fact, LSU played something like 15 freshman this year (total). Lost experience is a key as was the case in 2011.

I've always said LSU goes as the offense goes. The offense has been terrible since 2008. Yet LSU is competitive in every game, even the matchups against Bama (minus 01/09/2012).

Your schedule this year had an unfair advantage. 4 SEC West home games. Moronic and stupid and rigged in Alabama's favor.

Ole Miss has to come to Bama again next year, 2nd year in a row.

That's not even close to the same number of wins and losses. Ridiculous.

Somebody has to lose every game guys. That's why I did a detailed, in depth schedule analysis, and these are the projections I came up with.

So clearly TideSatchel was a CDC student.

And I'm not even saying that based on just your projections for LSU.

I don't see either fan base taking anything personal, they are just looking for logical reason why you predicted their record. Other than Mark Richt being the HC of UGA. The same HC that lost to your beloved Tide by 5 yards.

I'm going based off the way the year ended and who lost who.
