That is the Auburn standard. When State beats someone, especially in football, they automatically become rivals. The reason for this is manifest.

It started when Auburn bought Cam's dad a new church. Urban leaked it to the media when Auburn was winning, and butthurt Aub fans started blaming MSU.

All of these give the illusion of dominance without disclosing that only one game was played. Therefore, they are superior grinds.
