Mostly this year it felt good that the Croom Error is over.

Yeah it was nice to not get blown out every loss and we know what it's like to have an offense again.

Still trying to come up with excuses for yesterday's arse beating, but they cant find any.

Dan Mullen did a great job and the word it he had some big recruits on campus are are VERY close to committing to MSU.

We got Bumphis back for 3 more years. If Cam Newton transfers he will be starting at QB and we can put Relf at TE. And we also have an awesome junior college transfer running back coming in.

That'd be awesome

A Mullen coached team almost had as many points yesterday as a Croom Coached team had yards last year vs The School up North

I think we only had 36 total yards last year so we did eclipse it with points.

If Croom was still our coach we would've won only 2 or 3 games this year and got blown out 41 to 0 by Ole Miss.

So how big is this win for Miss State? I know it's big, but can someone from State share how bit the win is and what it means for their program moving forward?

There's no excuse. We got whipped. Our QB played like he was in Jr. High again and our defense got run over by a 6'9" 425 lb QB. Congrats, State. It was almost a mirror image of the Auburn game for us.

I would ask for some hellish devastation or pestilence to be unleashed upon Starkghanistan, but since I've been there a few times, I know that already happened years ago.

Relf is a beast we should have been starting him all year.

Been saying this all year, we might have still lost some game with him but he could've developed into something really good.

Considering Ole Miss beat us 45-0 last year, our old HC was fired, and our program was close to last in almost every offensive category. We hired Dan Mullen who has made an emphasis on recruiting the State of Mississippi and Making Mississippi State the top program in the state. The fact that he beat Ole Miss yesterday goes a long ways with recruits here in Mississippi.

Your qb is 6'9"?

Mallet 6'7"

Jefferson 6'5"

Sec West has some tall QB's

You mean like the State fans are right now?

I'm not coming in here to rain on their parade. The beat us, bad. Good for them. I'd rather just forget about it and get ready to go back to Dallas.

Like hell we would have.
We beat them 45-0 last year. A win was expected, even though state was a good football team.
We come here talking trash and people make fun of us for celebrating a victory over state.

WTF? State's team was good in 2008?

That team was ready for 2008 to be over with after the bama game last year.

No.
A win was expected over State's good football team this year.
We won 45-0 last year, so a 14 point Ole Miss win would have been nothing to brag about.

He meant even though State is a much better team this year, people would trash us for celebrating a win over State.

Everyone knows 2008 Mississippi State was hot garbage.
