The entire Mike era + Francione was a disaster that still managed to find a bit of success.
I won't fault Shula, too badly. He stepped into a shite show and did as well as he could.
In the end, it all led to Saban to Bama, so while tough to endure, it was a worthwhile means to a very good end.
Appreciate all Shula gave to the University as a player and coach, even if time has altered my perspective.

It was a glorious time. Saban days are ending soon, and the new Mike, Mike, and Mike era can begin.

Mark Richt had a five-year contract with Georgia with a total package worth around $750,000 a year.
