I absolutely Think 2019 Alabama was better than 2020 Bama.
Why are you comparing Smith/Metchie to Jeudy Ruggs? Smith was the best WR on the 2019 team too. You just actually had a second and third option. Smith Y/Rec went DOWN in 2020. It was actually the lowest of his career because he was just getting so many touches.
At least with Tua in.
2020 Bama benefited from returning a good amount of guys and everyone else around them getting significantly worse.
LSU fell off the map. Auburn lost their DL which is why they were good. OSU lost Chase Young. Florida’s defense took a massive step back.
Your best in season win was Texas A&M and there was nothing special about that A&M team.

That offense scored more in Bryant Denny than any one else, ever. And it played against a defense with no covid protocols.
Most TDs scored in a season ever. Most points scored in a season ever. Most points in a playoff game scored ever. Most undisputed Heisman winner ever.
Eat shite.
That defense was also without it's two starting middle linebackers and a starting defensive end. Before you diminish that, LSU fans would have excuses ready if Patrick Queen or Devin White had gone down in pre-season camp like those guys did.
And to some other posts, I find LSU fans to be insufferable pretty much all the time.

Yea, there were definutly frustrations. LSU has been an under achieving program for virtually our entrie existance.
But it's hard to get too angry when you have seen 3 National Championships in your adult life.

Literally redefined the sport.
This years Heisman “winner” (wiener imo) had 50 TDs.
Joe Burrow had 65 TDs

Because they are.

The program was burned to the ground in their honor and $125 million spent.
And your point... because 2019 still happened and the burning needed to take place.
