I seem to have missed where Eting complete almost 300 yards.
Look. Both QB's didnt really do shite, Stidham actually scored and had slightly more yards. keep hanging onto that qbr though...

You also missed where Stidham threw for a whopping 14 more yards on 7 more pass attempts.
You're not really getting this whole efficiency thing. Yards and TDs are not even close to what all matters in terms of how a QB performance is evaluated. They have passer ratings and ESPN has QB Ratings to show how well a QB performed, it takes many things into account, not just cherry pick raw yardage and TDs thrown.

Etling's incompletions were quite literally 2 throwaways and a dropped pass.
Stidham threw a pick, and took 3 sacks, vs Georgia Southern
No one is pretending Etling is Tom Brady. Simply pointing out that he isn't as terrible as many on here like to pretend. And Stidham didn't look 1/10th of what AU fans have pumped him up to be.
It's a long season, though.

yards and TDs are accounted for in QBR, along with plenty of other factors, of which Etling was superior.
