Little Rock had a DJ in the 1980's &90's who prank called the athletic department of Arkansas's weekly football opponent. This is hilarious and worth the listen.

"Is this the best you folks up in Arkansas can do?"

"Unless you think we oughta add an extra S to Arkansas, make it even."

That is awesome.

I'm a nobody, but I have a story in line with this.

Mississippi State was hosting Florida in 2000, the "3rd and 57" game. It was the CBS afternoon game, which State had never hosted before. It had rained all week before so the field was painted late. This sounds impossible nowadays, but the night before, a bunch of us were able to just walk onto the field.

We noticed that the G (Goal Line) on one side was painted on the 5 yard line. We were laughing about it and were trying to figure how we could get a picture when a groundskeeper yelled every expletive for us to "get our asses off the field."

Someone in our group finally got his attention to tell him what had happened and the "Oh shite" moment was realized. The next day, they covered it with a paw print, which had never been painted on the field at MSU and has never appeared again.

You can see it on the second play of the 3rd and 57 debacle

The next season, the paw print was in EA Sports NCAA Football.
