I sort of feel a loss coming too. I'd feel a lot better if we had Key. He'd be our best matchup defending Hervey. I don't know if we have a player athletic and strong enough to defend him effectively.

ok I didn't know that. I don't usually follow basketball, but I am because we are ranked now and I think we might be good. Probably not, but would be cool if we didn't suck this year.

yeah, this isn't football. Small schools are good too.

The 2016 squad helped put UTA basketball on the Division I men's basketball map. Crowned the best rebounding team in the nation and ranked in the top 10 in four team categories, UTA knocked off national powers Ohio State and Memphis on the road en route to its best start in school history (14-3).

They would finish the season 27-9

Currently ranked as the most experienced team in D1.

3rd nationally in 3P%

6'9" forward Kevin Hervey takes 44% of the team's shots, which nationally ranks him #1 in shot percentage.

PG Erick Neal ranks 4th nationally in assist rate.
