We should have won so not into moral victories, but if there's one thing to take going forward its that we looked borderline competent against the zone in the second half. 39 points isn't bad for us.

Hopefully we don't lay anymore eggs in the first half.

I have to give them credit though. Seemed like they played better offensively when the crowd was the most fired up. Their center is very good and they have a really good guard.

Bama will shut down Detroit. McCallum is all they have. It will be blowout city. K-State is in KC, but they are very, very down.

This this this

They were recruited to set those strings on fire, soon as they get enough confidence and timing they will start getting it done and that will open up the bottom.

You know how Green had the cone to jesus suspension last year? Mitchell needs that now.

You're ready to jump ship against Detroit?

That's the reason I'm worried about KSU because it's there.

Great student section! If I were a student I would need a fricking neck brace in the morning. Coleman sucks

Didn't Dayton get slapped around by someone last nite? Thought I saw that.

Lacey's got confidence. He was looking for his shot the whole time. Even after the first few didn't go down. Randolph and Cooper I'm a bit more worried about.

Lacey will play a lot of minutes this year. One of those sixth men who plays more than one of the starters (most likely Cooper, even though I like his defense.)

They are a decent mid major team. I'm not really seeing what there is to flame but okay.

Again, I don't think Tony was bad in the second half. In fact, I don't think we even get to the last second shot by them without him.

His pouting and falling asleep defensively annoys me too though.

They have just got to take a fricking shot. They are both tall enough to shoot over anyone.

They finally started slashing across the court to open some gaps in the zone and make accessible lanes. We made some incredible passes in the second half slashing away from the lane and passing back and inside that REALLY broke the zone down. Just didnt do it consistently enough. That will come though. Now that we seem to comprehend how to do it, they can only get better at it.

Decent team at 3-4? And the fact you're hosting them?

No flame at all. Just confused here.

OMG, words cannot not describe how stupid that comment was.

Have you seen Alabama's schedule? We haven't even played close to a ranked team.

Noway in hell Alabama is the 12th ranked team in the country.

Lacey deserves to start based on his outside shooting ability alone. We are going to need him badly going forward.

They've got a great guard who could light us up. If we beat Dayton, I'll have no worries about Detroit but if we lose, I don't have the faith in our leadership from Green and Mitchell to be ready to play.

Yeah, I predict he will be starting before conference play starts. He really needs to be a SG anyway instead of a backup PG. I really have wondered what Grant was thinking on that but I will most definitely defer to his much greater knowledge of coaching.
