I like having size. I can't remember the last time we've had this kind of size on the low post. 180 degree difference from last year.

Do you have any idea how much better we'd be if Pressey just learned how to play within himself?

We are playing good towards the end of the 1st half. I like how we look.

I'm so glad Phil Pressey has matured since his freshman year.
Same old retard. 2 steps forward, 1 step back...

Mizzou should be up 10.
Media is too in love with Pressey. He makes nearly as many mistakes as great plays.

Thank you.
If MU got a Leonard or Smith type guy they would be scary. Or if they had another McIntyre type guy to run with Pressey.

Personally, I think he simply is who he is. If he plays within himself there's a good chance you don't get some of the phenomenal plays you get out of him because he takes those risks. Gets burned sometimes by trying to do too much, but you're at least at the point with him that the benefit outweighs the cons.

The Illini has missed some shots too. Those rims are rattling and there's been at least twice they've missed some open looks around the basket. You're probably right where you should be.

Pressey is fun to watch, BUT, he does try to do too much sometimes. Usually doesn't shoot this bad. He will be fine, the size we have is gonna be too much for IL IMO.

Does anyone else see a combo of uncoked Peeler and Byron Irvin in Pressey?
The uncoked Peeler was a train wreck at times.

Also, Illinois has ugly colors.

Probably. It generally doesn't take much.

Back in the 90's we had a good little Bball rivalry starting it seemed with kentucky but we started sucking and they stayed kentucky

Was just talking about the end of the half, going down the court up 8, and Pressey makes a bonehead turnover, gave them life at the half.

While I typically agree with you, the main problem I see with Pressey is he gets consumed with being the hero too many times. Mainly in his shot selection. It's not good enough for him to dish the ball to players with a better position for a shot, he will, too many times just lob a shot up to get points for himself. He has a tendency to have atrocious shot selections and not valuing the ball enough.
