To be fair, this guy has won an SEC championship since Tennessee.
your point? Do you have to win the SEC to be "relevant"?

If you look at Tebow's lack of dating, and his "lispy" speech, then I wouldn't be surprised if he has gay feelings that he wrestles with on a daily basis. TT is obviously a very religious person, and those religious convictions will not allow him to act upon his homosexual desires. According to the Bible, both homosexuality and fornication are deadly sins. Therefore, there's no difference between a homosexual engaging in homosexual sex and a heterosexual committing fornication. It's a matter of either persuasion choosing not to engage in those acts and commit those sins. Because God knew that man would try to justify homosexuality and same-sex marriage as an accepted norm, He made it clear through scripture that homosexuality is an abomination. But in the end, homosexuals and fornicators end up in the same place - Hell.
Wow, to think my Methodist upbringing led me to believe that the essence of being Christian was grace & salvation, whose purest expressions were love, empathy, good morals & good citizenship. Yet for so many people who call themselves Christian, it turns out to be all about hellfire, damnation, punishment & in-group privilege.
No wonder so many people have rejected Christianity & organized religion altogether.
With regard to Tim Tebow, I have no idea what he is sexually, only that he has publicly professed to be a virgin. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if it does turn out that he's gay, if for no other reason that someone with his looks, fame, money & social status could have just about any girl he wanted. If that is the case, it must be a heavy mental burden to have to maintain a lie & live a life of sexual denial, especially since he's become such an icon among fundamentalist Christians precisely because of his all-the-time, over-the-top, most public expressions of religiosity.
Whatever he is sexually, I hope he finds love & happiness in his life, & that people will accept him for who he is. If we were to come out publicly, perhaps it might even change some attitudes that desperately need changing.

Sorry, man...but Tebow taking that loss on himself and galvanizing that team to eventually win a NC...that is actually pretty freaking awesome.
Tebow was the perfect college football player. People just don’t know how to react to it so they hate.

I'm pretty sure T.O. gave the gayest sports speech of all time.
It was even about a guy named Tony Homo.
