I am an Alabama fan and I will call BS on Auburn. As much as I joke about them that is probably the safest most pleasant campus and campus city in the SEC unless you are a fan of an opponent on gameday. My daughter is getting her PhD there after doing undergrad at Bama and I feel much safer with her on the Plains.

The campus is very safe. They have what they call the perimeter that covers the campus and the apartment/greek area and it is an oasis. Though go a block away and you are in the most dangerous neighborhood in the city. Students get free Lyft for certain hours through their student fees.
