That is what i was thinking. One final four in their history. They are on par with Miss. State. But they really have always been that way. They believe the accomplishments of a football team they have no part in playing or coaching somehow gives them additional knowledge of the sport. How many of those coaches actually came from Alabama?

Maybe not but Arkansas basketball isn't going back to the days of Stan Heath, John Pelphrey and Mike Anderson.

Bama would never go AU (rival) to buy a coach (they trashed for years online, etc), and supplement their team with all their players/recruits, then go anywhere in the free world and think it was remotely not cringe as frick.

Many Bama fans are new to basketball, but we’re experienced at winning. We’ve also seen Cal take the best teams money can buy, full of NBA talent, time and time again lose early in the tournament. I’m not saying he can’t do it, but I wouldn’t celebrate too prematurely
