Because transitive property has shown to be SO accurate in college football and all.
Based on a small sample (LSU and its opponents who played each other last year), it was over 80% accurate.

I think Florida will be the surprise team this year. McElwain has always been a great coach, but snakebitten at QB. If Zaire comes in and does well, McElwain is a great QB coach, Florida could surprise some people, and yes, beat FSU at the end of the season.
The jury's out on Stidham. Everyone's hyping him up as the second coming after looking good in spring practice. It's like Jeremy Johnson all over again. I could see the kid being an Austin Allen type of guy with a good arm, but I don't think he's the type that's gonna dominate the league or anything. At least, we all hope not...

Well, I'd say that Dabo Swinney could indeed be considered an "expert" when it comes to recruiting quality student-athletes, building a first-class football program, winning a national title & building his school's brand nationally, all while upholding the highest standards of personal & professional integrity.
As for the Auburn game, Coach Swinney would also be the first person to say that there's no such thing as "supposed to" when it comes to winning a football game; that whatever the name on the jerseys the outcome always turns on which team's players win their match-ups & execute better. We all know this game will present a serious challenge for our team & especially for our young offensive skill players. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised whatever team wins this game, but then it isn't make-or-break for either team's season.

I do believe Miss State will beat LSU this year. The last two contests were close calls (particularly the one you lost because of the delay of game on the long FG). The Tigers have to play in Starkville, and maybe you can convince Mullen to "white out" the Tigers, putting them in their unlucky purple jerseys

I say weeks one, three, and eight are legit
UCLA over Texas A&M...most likely upset
Arkansas over Auburn...A toss up game imo
Moo State over LSU...solid reasons in the OP's post but easily the least likely of the three. It will be tight imo but LSU has an offense now.

Yeah Auburn winning is hardly unthinkable, we have no idea what Clemson will look like post-Watson. He was single handily the difference in turning many L's into W's for them the past few seasons.
It's possible Clemson replaces him and has the talent to keep rolling along, but it's also possible they slide back greatly, particularly this season.

You say this as if it is a fact. I think we all expect improvements on offense and I am not trying to be a dick but let's see 2 or 3 games before we accept this as fact.
