I think 74 is the most we've given up all season. The talent and experience is there for them to make a good NCAA run (despite the tendency to flame out earlier than expected in the past). I don't know that we can beat them a third time if we meet up in the SEC Tournament. Good luck the rest of the way when not playing UK.

That's what I meant. Its a foregone conclusion Kentucky will win the SEC Tournament.

The SEC tournament is in the arena. You don't really think New Orleans Arena would host the Final 4 do you?

The '96 and '03 (I think the '03 was, know the '96 was since I was there) SEC tourneys were at the Superdome. Its just not as well configured for decent seating like the Georgia Dome is for basketball.

The SEC just broke its own bylaws then. They are suppossed to play the SECT at site of Final Four if within the home states. Ill go find the bylaw.

That is why in 03 the SEC Tournament was in the Dome, because of Final 4.

MKG says he's staying.

"I'm staying. I'm graduating here."

I hope so.

Two things concern me with that.

First and foremost, you'd think those guys have been instructed to not shoot off at the mouth about stuff like that if their coming back hinges on another guy coming in (Shabazz). So it's hard to say whether he's serious or not. If he's not he may have just cost us Shabazz with that statement.

Second, It's heat of the moment after a big win. He's clearly an emotional guy. He also has a Mom at home that has had health issues, his Uncle who raised him died last year, and his Father died when he was young. I don't see him turning down that kind of money when it could help his family financially.

I'm just really skeptical of it. I'd LOVE to have him for multiple years. I just don't see it. Not when he has a chance to be a high lottery pick.

Might stay for his soph. year, but the other statement is absurd.

I mean he can still graduate from UK (and he's one of those guys who I think will). It'll just be on the Cawood Ledford Scholarship honored to players who came back to finish their degrees after leaving early.

I didn't think about that, thought he meant he was staying in Cats country for the long haul.

I think that's what he meant with the comments (staying for next season). I just think he calls mulligans on the comment after the season is over and he evaluates things.

I ain't mad at him tho. He's up there with Patrick Patterson for me right now as an all-time fav.

Place the banner with velcro or it will be extra work later.
