I am not a KY hater. I do think that it is hard to win the NCAA tournament with a team that is dominated by freshman. This team certainly looks like it might be Cal's best chance. I don't know how he has convinced all those all-american aau based recruits to play defense first. That is his greatest accomplishment this year, as everyone on the team defends with tremendous effort.

Teague is as close as they have to a defensive liability, and he has improved.(still doesn't shoot free throws well). Davis is a beast and the only way to score on him is to attack, go right at him, take the ball to the rim thru his chest, and hope you can foul him out. Most of his blocks come when he helps, when he is away from the shooter. He has best feet of any big man I have seen since Hakeem O. I don' t think KY gets beat if he is on the floor. You have to get him out of the game to have a chance.

Miller and Lamb are great players and underrated defenders. They can shoot the rock from anywhere and are not afraid of the big shot.

Only potential weakness is the bench. It could be just as good but Cal doesn't play but about 7 guys. Could be trouble if someone gets in foul trouble or injured. Clear favorite to win it all.
