% of fans of your state's population?

Apparently 1 out of 6 of the 27 million people who live in Texas are Texas A&M fans. impressive to say the least

- Wonder what the %'s are for Alabama?
- Arky likely is 95% Flagship fans
- UF is likely the lowest with sharing the state to many other major universities.

Interesting number. I know for sure that 1 in 6 people that can read English in Houston are.

I'd put LSU at about 30%.
Some fans of other schools don't mind cheering for LSU. Some fans hate LSU.
Women probably don't give a crap about any team in LA, unless they are tagging along.
So, 30% fans, 50% don't care, 20% hate.

The map is interesting, but I don't buy it. Look at Alabama. No way Bama fans outnumber AU fans by that much.

I think 2 out of 1 folks are UK fans. They have everybody in the state and the ones that leave remain Cat fans in other states. Everywhere I travel I find local pockets of expatriate Cat fans.

Nearly every uneducated football fan in the state is a bama fan. It's a miracle we have over 1/4 of the state tbh. Just walk into a Walmart anywhere outside of Lee County on a Saturday and look around.
