They also built a 17-point lead. The game is 40 minutes long. No one segment is more important than another. They just beat a top 15 team on the road. That’s a great win.

Auburn could have gotten it farther up court there for a closer shot for sure.

Exactly

Harper is so quick he might have made it to the basket if Okeke had found him instead of Doughty

Doesn’t matter, far far easier and quicker to get a clean inbound off a TO. Would’ve had 3.5 seconds to go down the court

They still have Auburn again on the schedule, Tennessee twice, Florida twice. And have to play State then play Kansas just in this current stretch.

It may be their only “good win” for a long stretch if they don’t get their shite together defensively.

Yeah I think people aren't giving enough credit. Auburn is good, they fought back. They're not some dead fish that just lays there and takes it like Louisville. Could we improve? Absolutely, but that's a good win on the road against a good team.

Ideally yes but in the time it takes him to find Harper with the ball a second and a half may have run off the clock. That scramble situation makes it difficult.

Jesus. You’re almost as spoiled as a lot of Alabama football fans.

I think we play State twice, so the other 3 best teams, we play twice each. No one else has that schedule, but it's good for this team with the goal being March.

Sounds like the schedule we had last year.

Hindsight is 20/20, but it probably was best for Quickley to miss that 2nd one and have them start off a rebound in that scenario. Takes a lot longer to get going.

Honestly, I would feel better about my team winning that kind of game than I would just going ahead and cruising to a 15-point win.

There’s nothing spoiled about it. I expect better defense than that in mid-January. Especially when they’ve shown it.

You’re calling it a lucky win that your team didn’t deserve because they didn’t play perfect. Spoiled as hell.

Maybe so, falling behind late and still winning is a good thing. Would be nice if this team could put it's foot on another teams throat and keep it there.

Not at all. Not sorry for having the expectation of my team to not give up a 17 point lead AND having to depend on Auburn not taking a couple more dribbles to get close enough to the basket for a solid three (that they hit all second half). Yes, they got very lucky that Auburn wasn’t able to fully capitalize on closing that lead because they’re more than capable of winning those games.

But call it whatever you will. I’m sure Alabama Football fans have never had expectations before.

Lulz, I expressed concern of this teams defense beginning of the year...you told me to STFU and I was over reacting...and now your melting with same concerns.

Now it is my turn to tell you to STFU...this game will help us down the road. Right now, Kentucky has the most impressive wins in the conference (UNC, Louisville, and now Auburn...and 2 where on the road). Settle your arse down, we will be fine.

Go eat a bag of dicks, Mike. You’re the Queen of overreacting.

I said it was too early to overreact (it was, it was October) and you were ready to call the season a wash. Quite a bit different than being disappointed in completely going away from the defense in the 2nd half and giving up a 17-point lead.

LSU comes to Lexington...I'd be worried a lot if I was UK. We got da goods this year, we are good.
