Who's going to keep track of this bet, since HH isn't likely to even enter the draft for another couple of years
We can both bookmark it. If he is as good as you say he is, he will enter in 2016.

The Coaches said he was that good last season. He's a freshman All-American. His stats dwarf any other TE in the conference.
Anything else is opinion. Those are facts.

Then there shouldn't be any hesitation in taking the bet.

The draft, in no way, shape or form, indicates who was the best college player.
That has to be one of the stupidest fricking bets I have ever heard.

I'd take a ban bet that Howard goes ahead of both in the draft if you're up for it.
That would be stupid on my end. Some NFL team will waste a late 1st or 2nd round pick on him hoping they can do something with his incredible raw talent that wasn't developed at Alabama...like so many others.
Now, if you want to stop acting like a bitch and trying to bet on a guaranteed winner and make a bet on the thread you are posting in. I would bet that OJ Howard is not First Team All-SEC and that Henry or Engram are

Sounds good to me.

Easy there cowboy. His stats do not dwarf Evan Engram.

Sounds good. Obviously, this is an invalid bet if a player plays less than 10 games(due to injury).

They don't?
Engram - 21 rec, 268 yards, 3td's
Henry - 28 rec, 409 yards, 4 td's
That's something like 33% more receptions, 50% more yards, and 33% more td's. Dwarfed.

Ha, Engram played 6 games bray. That's exactly half a season. Double those numbers and lol @ Henry. Look, I defended you earlier. Facts are facts, like you said. Engram would have crushed Henry in every statistical category had he not gone down with a season ending injury.

Evan Engram went down with a pretty gnarly leg injury in the LSU game.
He is a good TE and is a pretty legitimate vertical route runner.
He is a good short to intermediate route runner but his primary asset is his ability to stretch the defense down the seam.
Henry is a specimen at 6'6, 251 and dwarfs Engram at 6'3, 217.
Engram is really more of a WR for us. I haven't paid enough attention to his blocking abilities to make a judgment call.
My biggest gripe with Engram is that he seems to disappear on third downs, when a TE/safety valve should make their biggest impact. I realize that that is playcalling among a myriad of other factors; I guess I'm just spoiled with Jimmy Graham.
Check out Engram's 2013 stats based on the down
First down - 8 rec., 134 yards, 16.8 YPR, 1 TD (64 yards

Second down - 12 rec., 130 yards, 10.8 YPR, 2 TD
Third down - 1 rec., 4 yards, 4.0 YPR, 0 TD
Also, 61% of 268 yards he gained on the season occurred when the ball was snapped within our own 21 to 39 yardline.
Predictable and unimaginative.

It's true that Engram missed time. His numbers definitely would have been much better without the missed time. Of course, Hunter played a few games with various injuries that slowed him down. But my point was strictly that gross stats, HH is highest.
Regardless, HH & EE would sen to both have good arguments. The only thing I'd say is that EE might not have demonstrated enough blocking prowess to convince people he's really a TE.

True on the blocking, but that may be because of our offensive scheme. He lines up every play at TE, so they can't count him as another position. Regardless, HH & EE will be 1st and 2nd team All-SEC as long as they are in school...barring injuries.
