It seems to mean that LSU baseball outdraws Kentucky basketball. And Kentucky had the top attendance in the country for college basketball.

SEC soon to become a conference where total baseball attendance surpasses total basketball attendance.

Auburn & Florida have shown potential for baseball growth. Alabama & Georgia have been somewhat disappointing.

LSU baseball finally surpasses Kentucky basketball in home attendance for one year.

Less than 30 CFB programs have football attendance greater than LSU baseball attendance.

Just keeping track...

Doesn't everyone do paid attendance? We actually charged for the student section this so it wasn't estimated? We just sold a shite ton of season tickets.

UK was only #1 by average attendance. LSU baseball still got bested by Syracuse & Louisville basketball this year, with Louisville going past 458k. We'll catch 'em soon enough.

Which is still pretty good when you consider UofL got to that total by having 21 home games this season.

What is the significance here when baseball plays 2.5x as many games as basketball.

That's down a bit for us. We had a pretty weak home schedule in the non conference.

Basketball plays only 22.4 regular season games? That can't be right.
