He's failed to make the NCAA tournament 7 out of 8 seasons.

Kennedy is getting credit for the new stadium? Couldn't it be that the Tad Pad is around 50 years old?

Kennedy deserves some credit for it...but not all.

He does deserve credit for making us a consistent program and bringing it out of the shitter. We were where you guys are now. Except instead of a bunch of players leaving because of a coaching change....we had a coach take us to that level over the course of his tenure.

I like it a hell of a lot better than a 4 win conference slate.

and Barnes failed to have a winning record his last 4 seasons.

But you like losing records, I guess.

He deserves some credit, and he also got them to build a basketball practice facility. The Tad Pad was almost always empty in Barnes final years. Kennedy much improved that with competitive teams. I'm pretty sure the two largest crowds in basketball history have been during AK's tenure.

I do respect Kennedy in a way though. Guy has made probably 12 million or so by making it to the NIT a handful of times.

He was the main reason we got our new practice facility. He didn't have nothing to do with it.

There is a group of schools in the SEC that goes to the NCAAt on the reg right now that consists of about 6 schools.

While I hope he goes more frequently than once every eight years, let's not act like the SEC is full of perennial tournament teams. Half of the teams in this conference haven't won a tournament game this decade.

Seriously. Especially considering it's fricking basketball at Ole Miss. Until we can start getting a few great players from Memphis every year, we won't be going regularly. And with Memphis' program, that's not going to happen.

You're probably right. I was using the past eight years for reference. With the shape Vandy and Texas A&M are in, it's probably more accurate to say four.

State has a Final 4 in recent memory. Y'all should have some sort of expectations. Our claim to fame is one Sweet 16. Plus we're in an arena that is so shitty that a game got rained out once. It's hard to have any expectations when you are far and away the worst program in the SEC

I'm not sure we are the worst. USCe hasn't won a tournament game in like 40 years or something.
