What the hell was wrong with our running game?

I know Arkansas said their defense would shut down our running game and they did. I couldn't tell if it was more them or more us but I was surprised we couldn't move the ball on them even when they knew we were running. Maybe I just give us too much credit. Did y'all see any reason why we couldn't run it?

A lot of it has to do with the fact that they sold out completely on first and second down to stuffing the option. When we started throwing short routes in the second half we actually moved the ball and opened up the run game. Give credit to Arkansas' defense they were prepared to stop our rushing attack.

I have to watch the replay but it seemed like we ran the ball 60%-70% of the time and when we did throw the ball it was never really and long than 10-15 yards ... might be wrong was to nervous when it was live, why I need to rewatch it

I watched the replay of the game after I got back, and it looked like that was pretty much their entire game plan for the D. They have some really solid linemen that were good at what they do.
On the other side of that, I'm even more impressed that we won in little rock despite arky taking away the run

we went to him a lot more than we did a couple games prior to AK.. but overall we need to throw more fades to him in the redzone and look to him in deep routes a little more
