some of y'all may have seen the 2 threads about how SEC teams (specifically LSU) got hosed in the baseball seedings for the NCAA

One of the threads references a tweet that asserts that public schools in California are not allowed to participate in NCAA events hosted in several Southern states, including Mississippi

seems that this has something to do with them being upset about perverts not being allowed in girls bathrooms and locker rooms

Does anybody here have any insight into this?

Y'all made the trip out there in good faith last year, and they owe you a return trip next year

Any concerns that they welsh?

Is that rule for post-season events only?

I made this point in the shorter thread (posted earliest) - have not read the longer thread, so it may be addressed there

But I thought this was a worth topic to bring to the Rebel board

thoughts?

The home and home series was scheduled prior to the California law going into effect thus it can still be played, Cal could back out of it though they would have to pay Ole Miss some amount of money.

thanks for the answer

I was getting pissed on your behalf

and I was wrong in OP - TX and NC are restricted because they want perverts to be able to follow little girls into the bathroom

for y'all, it is about the State flag

surprised Alabama (where I live) isn't on the list based on the state trooper patch

I for one think it would be hilarious for their almost bankrupt educational system to be forced to write us a check for a million plus dollars because they weren't allowed to come play us.

Please doublecheck this assertion. California cancelled many events that had been scheduled prior to enactment.

If they cancelled the entire state of California that'd be great.

I hope they aren’t too triggered from having to use the proper bathrooms ...
