Agreed.

It doesn't have to be a single unit. Tiger Stadium is an amalgamation too, but comparing that cathedral to our stadium is not apples-to-apples.

To be honest, as long as we keep winning, no one will give a frick.

Very few stadiums are. I think what throws people off the most is the lack of consistency with the 3 boxes. If they could just bring those in line with one another, we could leave the lower bowl alone. The concourse for the West side has to be fixed though. The other 3 concourses are some of the best in the conference. If you don't believe me, go take a look at Neyland. It's a real dinosaur piece of shite. Sanford stadium has concourses made for a 30k seat stadium where you wait in line for an hour just to take a piss. Auburn's concourses are as basic as possible. Ours are roomy and flow nice. We have the best sound system in the conference. Our concessions are NFL grade (the best you can get at Auburn is a reheated Chick-fil-a sandwich and a bag of chips). We actually have a lot going for us, but God forbid, our sky boxes don't match so let's shite on the whole stadium at every opportunity.

This is an oversimplification.

It's not only the skyboxes not matching, each directional side of the stadium is completely different than the other. The most recently constructed side of the stadium is just aluminum.
