I didn't blame anything on the refs. I said situations like what happened to Treadwell don't happen to other teams.

They happen to us all the time because we are cursed. Tell me a worse scenario than what happened last night? Get creative for me.

If it makes you feel better I was told by one of our Turfgrass guys that Freeze wants a real grass field and likely will get it. Should help out with injuries

Freak injuries happen though. I mean Auburns biggest issues are DL pass rush and interior run blocking both caused by season ending injuries. This shite happens unfortunately

I came away from that game really impressed with Auburn's offense. Our defense had an "off" night, but honestly a lot of it was Auburn's offense just being on top of their game. Marshall completed some really difficult passes to Coates into good coverage that he had no business completing. Their passing game, not their running game, is what kept them in the game, which really surprised me.

Marshall is an underrated passer. He may never have a future as a great passer but he can make the throws. Issue always was last year he didn't have the time to develop and the run game was working. We see improvements this year but run game regressed a little which hurts him.

If he had a RS year and a few off seasons to develop, he could be solid as a passer which combined with his running make him ultra scary. He just has never had theexperience and time to learn making reads. Think Michael Vick

Did they happen as they were inches from crossing the plane for the potential game winning TD?

I'm really not in the mood to discuss luck or lack there of with Auburn fans tonight

He found the open guys on third down without fail. He wasn't always under pressure on those third downs, but dammit did he make a move to get some space and fire a rocket to the open man several times to keep drives alive. He just makes plays.

Sort of like how FSU returned a kick against us in the lane of one of our KO guys who cramped up at beg of play?

This stuff happens. My point is focusing on that one play ignores that your #1 defense fell apart, your offense couldn't capitalize on being given 150 extra yards and free 3rd down passes.

Auburn marched down the field in the second half and had 2 minutes + 3 timeouts to get a FG. That Treadwell play was nails in the coffin but one play doesn't carve that box.

I love Ole Miss. Had a special place for y'all deep down ever since my FR road trip there. I'm just trying to make a point. Same thing I had to swallow in the FSU AU BCS game.

Marshall also has a very quick release. I think our DBs had some trouble adjusting to it.

Auburn started throwing the ball more when Elston came out of the game (concussion). They got one wide open TD off of a blown assignment.

Thinking of concussion how was Mather's? He seemed to have gotten his bell rung good
