So let me get this straight. You disagree that Snoop was an idiot whose existing idiocy was made worse by Houston Nutt's own idiocy?

I'm saying this:
Snoop is an idiot and he was going to be an idiot regardless of who his "leader" was. He had bad grades coming in to OM, he had a 0 gpa while he was at OM, he's been in trouble with the law, he didn't do well at JUCO, and most recently, his agent said that he did not prepare for his pro day this past Monday.
It's apparent that the kid has little to no respect for his authority figures.
So let me get this straight, you think that a different coach would have made a difference? When he's continued to disregard all other authority figures in his life?
I'm saying this:

No I don't believe that Nutts idiocy would have affected Snoops outcome. He's shown that he shows no respect for authority figures.

No frick you. You didn't answer my question. Nutt's track record with players speaks for himself. We had 56 of the 128 players Nutt signed leave the team. Like OMreb pointed out there was 30-40 kids in grade trouble when freeze got here. You don't think Nutt had anything to do with Brassell?
We aren't ever going to know which is why I said he might have made it in my original innocuous statement because I don't know

Nutt personally DIDN'T have anything to do with Brassell's actions. How do y'all not realize that it's the kids decision to go to class, to study, to make grades? It's not like Nutt was giving them incentives not to go to class.

No question that Nutt chased players away but even Neil (the guy who loves to rip on Houston every chance he can) gives him a pass on Brassell.

Kids make their own decisions, but coaches can have an impact on those decisions.

Yes he did. He didn't make them show up for classes, didn't care about team meetings, hell he quit recruiting. He didn't give a frick which permeated through the entire program. That is common knowledge.

Brassell is undoubtably stupid and lazy. I've said so numerous times but Nutt doesn't get a pass ever. He wants to take credit for fitty then he claims ownership of the undisciplined mess he created.
