Something that needs to be brought up

There's a quiet confidence on this board and others that the Rebs will win the game Saturday. There has been little chatter about UT compared to going into the game last year, and to me, that is disappointing. With that in mind, I felt the need to bring this to light.

I feel the need to remind everyone just how horrible people from Texas are. Upon arrival at Ole Miss for undergrad, I was unfortunately introduced to guys in my dorm from Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, etc. Those guys were the absolute worst. These were the dudes who drove big, gaudy trucks for no reason whatsoever, casually wore Texas beltbuckles, and swore that Trotline show they saw at the ATO house was the best concert experience of their lifetime. These idiots were the ones who came in, yelled "The South Will Rise Again" because they thought it was tradition, and ruined FDWL for the rest of us. Texas people are pure evil, and bring absolutely nothing to the table.

These attributes unto themselves are horrible and downright unacceptable. But to me, the worst part about Texas people was they went to Ole Miss because they couldn't get into their original school of choice. And after all of that, they still cheered for the Longhorns. OMG VINCE YOUNG! MACK BROWN IS LEGIT! COLT MCCOY HOLY CRAP! frick that. No more.

Nothing made me happier when they lost to Tech in 2008, and then we went to Texas and beat Tech's arse in the Cotton Bowl. It was a great win for our program, but my main source of joy was from knowing we were better than every team from Texas that year.

So my point is this: if you need to channel all your hatred from your experience with Texas people in undergrad to get up for this game, so be it. Play some Pat Green & Cross Canadian Ragweed to remind you how much that state sucks. Do what you have to do. This game is huge for Ole Miss Football for many years to come, and is our last chance for a while to 'beat the ever living stink out of' Texas.
