They definitely didn't separate any men from boys under McGriff. At least we do separate the men from boys with physicality whereas at State they use a firehose.

Yeah the optimistic hope would be these guys were just trouble makers and they are weeding out the cancers of the team. Both players were suspended so maybe they needed to go.

I know all our ears stand up when we hear about losing linebackers regardless of where they might have been on the depth chart, but considering both were suspended already we shouldn't be too shocked they are now both transferring. It's certainly not out of the norm as compared to other programs.
