He's too big to move I think. They want him to be the bruiser. I wish Barber would've stayed.

Meh... He's a pretty damn good back if healthy. He had something like 1100 yards and 18 TDs in 5 games before the injury. That's like 225/game 4+ TDs/game That's fricking ridiculous at any level.

I agree that we have alot of talented guys that need touches. Only thing is those guys cant throw the ball as well.

Thing is Brunetti as well as Mackey are/were just as talented as those guys when it comes to making plays.

Scott better strap em up because his spot might get taken

To me it's not a question on if but "when". When will he lose his spot. I've never been a fan of Scott. He has straight line speed. Does not cut very fast, isnt very agile, and runs to the sideline to get out of bounds nearly every play.

He hasnt been playing because he is great, he has been playing because there was no one to beat him. That will change this year. Dodson has the spring to learn blocking schemes. Mathers and Walton will be better backs. Wilkins is over 200lbs and ran a 4.4. These guys are coming for Mr. Scott.

I dont think so. People are sleeping on this kid. He moves very well in short spaces and ran a 4.4.

I agree... If the Miller kid can prove he's a serviceable backup it'd be huge... I really hope we Red Shirt both Kincade and Buchanan... Devante is the QB of the future... I think the Buchanan kid ends up transferring

I think both will RS. I dont think Buchannan will transfer. He was born and raised Ole Miss. He'd go to Ole Miss even if he wasnt playing football.

I'm not really sold on either QB. I think they both are decent and very capable of running the offense. Kincade though IMO is too short and lacks arm strength. Buchannan hasnt played the level of competition so he will have to adjust as well.

I'll just take a wait and see approach. Glad to have some HS QBs to grow in the system though since Nutt had no idea what that meant!

What is everyones fixation with Barber? He was ok, but he wasnt great to me. Wilkins video seems much better than Barber and of course he was rated higher as well.

Barber rarely if ever goes down on initial contact. Good OL play will fix that though with a lighter back.

I'm fricking stoked about the OL the next few years.

I am as well. I think that greyshirt/walkon or whatever he is from Northwest that will play center(Douglas) is going to be a very good pickup.

We need to keep getting talent on the OL because we lose alot after next year though. Tunsil, Bouldin, Johnson, Golson, Austin Douglas is a great start.

Brassell went start Week 1. There is a reason Saban said he was one of the most talented DB's he has ever seen.

Strong will not start a single game for whoever made that claim. First off, he is a great player but he is lacking a little in the intelligence department. Secondly, whose spot is he going to take?

Brassell's only issue is off the field.

I liked Barbers balance and vision. Combine those elements with his size and I thought he was a special back.

Will Ward move inside? He looks like a freaking monster on the edge but maybe thats because the rest of our D minus Pena was pretty small this year.

I hope not. The guy was fast enough to be on kickoff coverage. I would like to keep that kind of speed on the edge.

I don't think so. Even with Nkemdiche we don't have tons of depth at DE. Ward will a monster on the edge IMO.

I think saying Nkemdiche will start over Ward at DE is a little pre mature though
