I think the entire team went out and partied the night before that game. Only explanation for that abortion of a performance.

He led the entire country in picks in 2012. We only signed Buchanan and Kincaid out of HS that season. Neither one of them was ever really going to do anything for us. I get that Bo was his boy from asu but did freeze really not think maybe he should get someone less turnover prone?
I loved Bo and him being a gunslinger was fun but surely you have to think about giving him some competition at that point

I think Bo’s mom was kind of good looking. Maybe that had something to do with it.
I sat next to her on a plane ride when Bo and Hugh were at ASU. She talked about how her son drove a Dodge Charger. Nice lady.

Bo knew the offense and had lit up the stat sheet winning a national title at EMCC. He was the right move at the time.
He’s still the toughest QB I’ve ever seen come through Ole Miss. Him passing all over Mississippi State in that 2014 Egg Bowl with essentially a broken ankle is legendary.
I saw an interview at some point where he said they pumped him up full of so many painkiller for that game that he started getting blurry vision. He told another player on the sideline “Man I am so fricked up I can’t see straight” and they told him “Nah man you’re good you have to be good! Let’s get the frick out there!”
