We may not win one this coming year, but it's coming soon...

This makes me happy. Now if Fox continues working on my "screen name" team, I will be elated!

The Cubs just paid $186 million for a career .268 hitter who averages 15 HR and 60 RBI per year.

So, I guess you could say they're making an impact.

Cubs have a history of really bad management. That trend ended with Theo Epstein. They are building to win right now after biting the bullet over last few years. These Card fans are only kidding themselves....they lost a coupe of MAJOR pieces to their rivals and it's hurting. The latest one is 26 ...and is a gold glove outfielder. They are young and they are deep in pitching. Cubs here to stay.....and it has to do with quaility moves by the front office!

Go Cubs Go!

And hey Card Fans......

As a Braves fan(??), the Cubs will be who I pull for until the Braves decide to field a Major League team(2019, maybe). That lineup will be tough, with few holes for outs. Russell, Zobrist, Rizzo, Bryant, Schwarber, Heyward, Soler, Montero...thats about as good as you could ask for. Arrieta, Lester, and Lackey is a great top 3 too. Gonna be fun to watch for the next few years!
