^ this. If we don’t win tonight we are basically forcing ourselves to win out starting with the #1 overall player in the draft next year
ETA not gonna lie guys when Caracci was 3-0 on that first guy I thought the game was over. Massive for him to recover like that. He wasn’t doing that in the middle of the year

Caracci pitched 30. He should be available Saturday should necessarity compel it. Then he can ice up until Tuscaloosa. Scary win. Good win. Tits fricking out!

Huge win. I like being 1-0 facing their ace. Almost takes the pressure off a little. Everyone expects us to lose tomorrow, just tell the batters play like the underdog
Caracci is the man
Caracci is the man

Well at least we got the win. I actually think we find a way to rough up Mize tomorrow.

I didn’t realize my phone decided necessity is necessarity haha, but yeah. Honestly, frick it. Let’s be the team that makes MLB talking heads on ESPN discuss whether Mize should truly be the #1 pick. We probably won’t, but I’ll take at least 2 wins however we get them. We have to win at least 2

Be huge if Feigl can get through 8 and use a random freshman to close it out. Have a fresh bullpen for tomorrow.

Carracci headed to pen. I don’t see us using him unless auburn scores several

Time to take Feigl out

Did I hear that right?
The broadcaster just said it was Bianco's 800th Win and 700th at Ole Miss. Is that for real?

For as good as this team is I can't believe this is the first time we've even had a chance to get a sweep on an SEC series this season, shows just how good the SEC is this season, also that has to be one of our greatest performances ever.

Feigl showed more to the scouts there than Mize could in one inning last night. I am glad he had an off night because it came when we needed it. He is still a good pitcher. You could tell he is first round talent. Our guys were just determined more. But honestly we’ve seen them fight all year. It finally came through as a full game fight rather than having to fight back late.
I really like our upper classmen and Dillard is my favorite but Tyler only being a freshman is a grown man playing out there. You can look at him and just tell that whether on the field or hitting, nothing intimidates him. Also I hope we can find a way to get Rowe some more time so he won’t be cold coming off the bench come tourney time. We have a pretty decent bench if you look at it and a decent bullpen if you don’t count Stokes. We have the pieces and fight to make a good run, but man being a long time fan, it’s hard getting my hopes up to much.
And as I have said all year, no matter the end result, this has been one of the most fun teams we have had to watch. I hope Mac has a good outing today and not need Carracci until at least the 8th. A win today would be huge. We need home field throughout as much as we can.
I haven’t paid attention, but has anyone looked to see who all that’s starting now in the lineup will be back next year? Or at least believe they may or should come back. I wish we could somehow keep almost all of them with the chemistry they have. I know its selfish and wish them well at the next level or whatever they choose, but they are just a special team. Here’s to hoping for a big win today.
