We finally pulled off a Friday win and in a big way.

Haven’t looked at the reason but why are we declining a double header tomorrow? It may just me being selfish, but I sure would like to get all the conference games in that we can. Love to see the team bounce back after last weekend. Maybe it woke them up. Especially for a Friday night game. Vandy isn’t really a slouch. I just think last weekend humbled them, and they saw that any team at any time in baseball can beat you if you’re not steadily putting up 100% effort.
Still a good team that is growing and learning each other’s every move. No matter the end result, we have a fun team to watch. Hopefully as the season goes we keep progressing and not start to regress. Or become complacent. I think we will be fine though.

I cut all cords and now use directv now, and you can use Watchespn also with it. They have a deal going right now for $25 off first 3 months which includes in the package I chose all Espn channels and SEC network. I’m very happy with it. No trouble with Xbox 360 or Roku buffering. Plus don’t tell anyone, but I have been getting Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and WWE Network free for the past 6-7 months lol. I just pick up a prepaid MyVanilla card (OneVanilla card won’t work) at the end of each month, and make a throwaway email, and boom, free month. I don’t bother using it for sling or others because they only offer 7 day trial.
Call me poor all you want, I just call it beating the system after years of jacked up prices for maybe 4-5 channels worth watching, and forcing you to upgrade to higher packages just to get the one or two decent ones you want. And thanks again for the heads up about today’s games. Someone I guess didn’t know what they were talking about in the thread Friday. Maybe it was the Friday baseball discussion thread. Couldn’t remember which one. Would be a great day to bring out some brooms. Good momentum builder.
And glad everyone was safe during the weather. We had a couple tornadoes touch down around here but luckily they touched down after moving across our house and touched about 10 miles from us.

Thanks for the info about the directtv deal (and the myvanilla card)
There was strong rotation going right over my part of town in Clinton. Like, on the tv (using antenna) they said it was passing over the highway right near my apartment. Didn't touch down near me though luckily. Still scary

Glad you stayed safe with all that. I’m about 10-15 miles outside of Meridian. Closer to Newton. I got out of Meridian a while back because crime is getting worse than Jackson almost.
And no problem about the info. Glad it might can help you. I just couldn’t see paying that high of a price for satellite for only a few channels I wanted. And with getting a new throwaway debit card and email each month, I can get everything i want free. Except for the directv now deal, but you get a ton of channels for a price that is no where near as high as the satellite package. I have no regrets with it.

Great idea on the Netflix cheat.

Is it me or did Zabowski completely look like he had his foot on the bag? Maybe it's my red and blue glasses, but I think that was a horrid call.

Don’t fricking stare at the play for 2 seconds then point at foot, then say safe.
If he’s safe you shout that shite immediately cause Ortes is at home waiting on the throw and the runner is only 2 steps past third.
Ump waited til the kid was 2/3 of the way home til he said anything at all.

I don’t even mind the home plate ump’s zone.
He’s given a lot on the outside edge at the waste and at the knees.
But he’s been consistent.
Try to scratch for one and maybe get greedy and put up a crooked number.
