Olenek being out hurt us tonight. I take back what i said about Zabs offense not being worth having Cooper behind the plate. Hes been on fire lately. Im just not sure what we should do with our lineup and Bianco is in a tough spot. We gotta do better against starters for sure though

I hope we can pull it off today. It would be huge for us. I would love to sweep every weekend, but with how the league looks this year, I don’t mind at all just grabbing two wins. I don’t know what’s going on with our pitching. It may just be because of how good the SEC is this year. We have a good team. In fact, one of the best in a while. Just need to figure out a good lineup and stick with it. But it still seems like we would leave someone out because we do have about 12-13 or so that could play every day and contribute. It’s a good problem to have and hopefully we can figure out the perfect 9 guys to have out there each game.

I was watching pitching the past few weekends and I believe they are trying to hard. They started off great this year, and I believe they self inflicted pressure entering league play. That and good SEC hitting. It’s a long season and Bianco needs to step in and remind them of that. Plus I think sometimes they worry about some of our defense miscues and try to hard to do it by themselves.

I believe in Bianco. I’ve supported him since he has been here and believe he’s the only coach who needs to stay. He may not make the best decisions, ( base running) but he is going to get everything out of the guys he has. Most players I’ve ever talked to that’s played under him love the guy. Right now though, he needs to sit down with them and explain again how long of a season it is and to keep playing with confidence and no reason to hold their heads down. One of those types of speeches. And to also make sure that position coaches are working on the simple stuff with each group. Like outfield and so on. He needs to show them the depth that the SEC has this year, and that they need to keep their heads in the game every single minute and be prepared for any and everything. And I wouldn’t mind if Bianco himself sat down and watched some film on base running 101 and improve there.

Anyways this isn’t a gripe and complain post because I believe we have a special team and will continue to improve. I could talk baseball all day, but I’m sure most look at these and think good God holy wall of text ha. But baseball is just in my blood. Again hopefully coach will sit them down and try to talk with them about not letting the pressure of SEC play overwhelm them and just go out there and have fun and trust your teammates to have your back. It’s baseball and we will lose a few games, but hopefully we can take more series than not. I don’t mind at all winning 2 of 3.

Sorry again for the wall I just created. I try to get most of thoughts in one post instead of a little at a time. Here’s to a series win today.

Agreed. I think we can win today, though. Aggie gave us their best shot yesterday and we almost pulled it off.
