shite used to really eat at me when I was there. Buddies never believed we could beat Bama etc. Hugh proved it was very much possible. Kiffin built on that. And now it would seem the admin boosters etc are not letting go of the rope. Lacy coming back says it all to me. To quote John Hamm’s character in the bank robbery movie The Town, “This is the not fricking around crew.” Excited for the future. The irony in LSU’s pure denial take of “Not relevant.” We just finished Top 3 and they finished unranked.

We have to sustain that success by Pete getting at least 10 wins next season. Defensively, we should absolutely be improved. We didn't spend much money there and the lack of talent showed. We had a very good haul. Offensively, with Lacy and Trinidad back, running pretty much the same scheme with JDB, we should be able to hit that 10 win mark.

I've always hated that mentality. It's typically from people that are fans only on Saturday and don't really care a lot about football. Still, I never understood the self degrading attitude of part of our fanbase.
I think it's the same crowd that leaves at halftime of a close game so they can go socialize in the Grove.

It’s a defense mechanism for when we lose. They can just say they never cared anyways.
