Its becoming clear that we are his plan B or C. If we have any success with him he will jump ship to a bigger program.
I want a cut throat coach who is crazy successful and if in 3-5 years he's hired away to Oklahoma or Georgia or w/e I can be happy he left the program in a good spot.

I was pissed off initially when we hired Freeze (wanted Kirby) and I was pissed off for 3 seasons when we hired Luke (Wanted literally anyone else on this planet). The last time I was excited for a hire was Nutt.
Needless to say, I will more than likely not be happy with this hire and that's probably a good thing

I wasn’t stocked on Freeze until his first speech at the ford center and all I could think is oh shite we are going to win. The guy had me hypnotized

Sort of agree..hard to believe a new AD would fire the football coach without someone locked the frick down and waiting to announce after this weekend’s games. If we are scrambling to hire a lower tier coach who has had one winning season in his career then we deserve the crap coming our way..and I’m resolved to putting my eggs in the volleyball coaching search

I agree with you and I like his offensive and QB developing background. Granted, I’ve never met the man, but I know if I was our AD I would have a rock solid backstop plan by Sunday to hire someone that I had interviewed and had done due diligence on his coaching career and life..when I’m paying 4-5 million. If we are scrambling and hire a retread it’s really a bad look for our school and its leadership, but I’ll remain cautiously optimistic for now. I selfishly want a coach who has the innovation and appreciation of the talent level of our offensive stars who will say out loud that he will find a way to get Corral and Plumlee on the field at the same time.

Arkansas didn't have an AD when Morris was hired.
HY wasn't hired until after Morris was. A stupid decision for sure!
