I want to say 500,000 - 750,000/ year. I could be wrong though.

I think his base without incentives is around 400k

Too much for what is coming out on the field.

I'm convinced we get the least return on our investment in the country.

We have put too much money into Swayze for us not to invest in a big time proven coach. We at least need to try.

According to one article, Bianco is making $580K per year. $420K comes from boosters and camps, while $160K is his base state salary.

That's a lot of money for the product on the field.

With having Bjork I'm completely confident that he will get the right guy. I just hope it is soon.

I would like to see Bianco I a few years. Hopefully, Bjork can get his head screwed on straight. With players like Turner, you should be a shoe in for Omaha.

Bianco isn't going to get it done man. 2005 we were possibly the best team in the nation and couldn't even get to Omaha. He won't get a better team than that.

He's done us well, but its time. Sorry Bianco, but we need to move on. Its just getting ridiculous.

I don't see the big deal about this guy. He went to Omaha his first year at Louisville with talent that wasn't his and he hasn't done much since.

You're doing him a disservice then. He is basically the reason Ole Miss Baseball is big these days. It was about as cool as softball back before he came. I appreciate what he's done, but its time for him to go.

I'm wanting to get rid of Bianco too and I'm not saying McDonnell is the wrong hire I would just like for us to explore better options.

Ohh, just misunderstood your post. Thought you were saying that Bianco isn't worth anything from the start.

I honestly think we could get Rick Vanderhook (Cal State Fullerton)

He just got locked into a big contract, I believe.

Isnt Louisville in line to host another regional this year ? That would make the 4th time a McDonnell team hosted (If I'm not mistaken ) and he got there in 2007... That's pretty strong... His recruiting has been unbelievable.. Not easy to talk kids into choosing Big East baseball over SEC baseball.

No one ever talks about Jim Toman at Liberty but he put together all those ridiculous USCe recruiting classes... Smoak, Hempy, Pelzer, Darnell, Crisp, Havens , Honeycutt.... The list goes on and on.
