I just rewatched the play at the end of the 1st half where Trinidad threw the interception
Three players running routes. One blanketed with double coverage. Another one with a guy all over him. And the one Trinidad threw to, who was the most open of the three but (as the interception showed) was not really open. Making that throw was the best of Trinidad's three bad options.
The problem with that play was the play design. Nothing schemed to get someone open, no option for Trinidad to run it in. It was just a really lame play call and Trinidad has taken the blame for it.

Yeah, that interception was irrelevant. If it weren’t fourth down on the goal line, he doesn’t make that throw.

Im not out on JDB yet. It's year 1. I remember when everyone wanted Weis Jr fired. We had a banged up Oline and 1/2 of Lacy for Texas. I also think our WR's are also way below average compared to the top end of the SEC.
