The need for a 80,000 plus stadium would require an almost 50% increase in season ticket holders.
I don't see that happening over the next 5-10 years. It may eventually get there, but Oxford and the surrounding areas will have to grow in order for that to happen.
It would also need for 8,000 plus visiting fans to attend each game and then you would have them in an upper deck over Ole Miss fans?
What's the SEC requirement for visiting teams seat allotment?

"If you build it, they will come."
Good question on the SEC requirement.
They determine how many tickets & location of visitors.

I've always thought that 75k was our sweet spot. It's still very large in terms of college football but will be smaller in sec terms which coincides with what our brand is all about. Our fans have always taken pride in the small, close knit/family atmosphere that Ole Miss is all about. It's why people think Ole Miss is cool. It's one of the big reasons we are unique.
A beautifully symmetrical stadium with modern amenities is what we need because we will never beat Bama, LSU, A&M, or AU in seating capacity but we can beat them with game day and in-game experience. If we invest in quality, we will be the shining diamond of the SEC for the next thousand years.

I have always thought the general rule was 10% went to the visiting school. I could be wrong but thought that was the case

I think 75k, with renovations to the press box side and east to match the SEZ look and the final upgrade being the NEZ completed to match the rest of the stadium.
Lots of luxury boxes and about 65,000 stadium seats would be ideal.
15,000 in luxury box seating is a possibility, looking more like an upper deck on all 4 sides.

Yeah that would look pretty sexy. Just would like to leave the possibility for an upper deck.

Seems like the lights on the left side of the club level are a few feet lower than the lights on the right side.

7,500 is the number no matter the size of your stadium. 2500 have to be made available in the lower bowl as well

I thought it was 5,000.

What will the end zones be painted like? I hope they go for something similar to what we had the past few seasons. The last time we had natural grass, the graphics looked weak.

not official but this without the MS emblem

No way that's the final design. The school is going away from the M, the Ole Miss stacked script is what they have been using consistently since Michael Thompson took over, and the end zones will have block letters to showcase the new standard wordmark for both (14)OLE MISS and (15)REBELS that we've seen on uniforms and other licensed apparel lately.

I hope we stick to pretty much the exact same design we had with the turf, especially in the endzones I like the colored endzone look a lot more than the non colored look.

I would not hate that Mississippi shadow out line behind Ole Miss script at mid field.
And the endzones need to be that Dark Blue not that faded Blue in the previous image

I would.

Arizona has their faded "bear down" slogan on their field so you can imagine how a faded Mississippi logo would look, obviously it wouldn't take up the whole field like theirs does.
