I have once. My mom asked me to go to a finance seminar with her last year and about halfway through they literally drew a pyramid (like on the office). I told her we needed to fricking bail.

A lot of these network marketing things really aren't scams, they're just not instant easy money. I know a guy who made a boatload off of one but he busted his arse and annoyed a lot of people.

As long as you are at the top of your own personal pyramid it's not a scam to you.

Well in most cases you are not even really selling a product. Or the product is not important. The people who start the MLM's are rolling in money I am sure though.
