What do we need to happen today to get into Cotton/Peach bowl?
Zona getting bent over definitely helped. We need OSU to win, right? What else? Bama I'd assume?

I'd prefer the Cotton against Baylor. I'd be pissed if it was the Peach against State. Not because I don't think we could be State twice, because we could and would, but because it would be such a boring matchup.
I think we're in no matter what happens today because Arizona and another top 10 team will fall below us.

We don't care about FSU-GT. We need Baylor to win (to drop Kansas State below us) & OSU to win (to keep Wisc from jumping us).
ETA: Oh, and Bama needs to beat Mizzou.

I don't get the infatuation for a Florida bowl (other than the Orange).
Peach and Cotton payout almost twice as much as a Florida bowl not named Orange.
Plus the Fla bowls will be a pain in the arse to get to. Why the love? Is it the weather? I guess you could squeeze in a golf round but its not like you're going to the beach while you're there

I really hate cold weather. I enjoy being able to wear shorts outside during December and January. Plus I've already been to Atlanta this year and went to the Cotton Bowl twice. Don't care about going back to either of those places.

We would just need to get in the top 10 from my understanding. I have a REALLY hard time a major bowl would make that matchup though.

What's the order of picking? Or how does the selecting process for those 4 bowls work?

The playoff committee will determine who gets into the "bcs" bowls (Orange, fiesta, cotton and peach I think) based on rankings and geographical proximity

I'd like Cotton against Baylor. Girlfriend's family is from Dallas and the vast majority Baylor grads. Her dad has also never been to new cowboy stadium and he's a huge Cowboys fan, so it'd be nice. My second would be a florida bowl because my parents are in south Florida, making the trip easier.
