He'll leave us better than he found us, and that's the only positive thing I'll say about him. These annual bubble collapses are more painful than just being flat out bad. And knowing that we will never step up under pressure is a nauseating feeling.

Ok Pank Reb. We're in the SEC quit saying were ranked blah blah blah in the fricking sec. This league sucks dick. Tell me where we are nationally.

I'm glad it makes you laugh that we have no structure because we run 2 fricking plays. Watch us against a zone, fricking awful.

Did I say we're the only team that gives up open 3s? No. Do we give up open looks about 70% of the time? Yes we do. Your argument is bad and you made no points.

Indiana has lost three times this season when they are number 1 to an unranked team.

Oh this makes me feel so much better! Wait no it doesn't. frick, we aren't Indiana? Oh yeah we have a coach that hasn't made the tournament ONE TIME. They can fricking lose to shitty teams. We can't!

But hey keep telling us about things that don't matter

I just want to see our players improve year to year like we saw this year under freeze. Everyone had improved somewhat. We haven't seen that with Kennedy.

I thought Kennedy should of been fired years ago. We have no offensve identity and basically just play pick-up game basketball. Then on defense we just look completely out of sync. I can't describe how angry I get when game after game after game after game we give up countless open 3 pointers because of our lack of understanding defensive rotations. 7 years and nothing has changed.

I don't think you keep him even if he does make the tournament. This is probably the most talented team we've ever had and we are still a bubble team. That's on Kennedy.

Nah, I wouldn't classify it as trolling, but he is getting all devils advocate up in this bitch.

I think he's got a point that this season CAN be used as an indicator that AK is "improving" and it would look silly to fire a guy who's overall and conference record are better (assuming we win 1 more regular season game and 1 in the SECT) than any previous year. I think the point most of us are making (in different ways) is that it's too little too late.

We believe that had AK been a good/great coach over the past 6 years, we would not be on the bubble right now. We'd be solidly IN the dance, a strong #2 in the SEC and a lock for the S16 this year.

Every bit of this is true.

I'm sure that percentage is backed up with actual research and statistics.

Yeah you can only pull one line out of the whole paragraph and say something that obviously isn't factual is false.

If you think we play good defense you're a moron.

Same for if you believe we have a good offense/scheme

because it's a pet peeve of mine.....

I agree with you....kinda. Teams score more on us this year than the past mainly because they have more possessions. You can thank our quick-shooting offense for this.

Ready for some actual statistics? Our defense is responsible for giving up .94 points per possession. That's good for 53rd in the nation and tied with Duke. FWIW, our offense is good for 1.1 points/possession and good for 23rd in the nation.

but yeah....stats say I'm the moron here.

once again....

we have one of the best offenses in the nation.

please....show me stats....anything. Any shred of factual evidence to support any argument you've made so far about how this team plays.

Few more stats for you...

Offensive efficiency: 110.0(25th in the nation, 3rd in conference)
Defensive efficiency: 93.5(53rd in the nation, 3rd in conference)

I mean...if you want to argue something just to argue, then that's fine. But if you actually want to prove that you actually know something, use some actual statistics. That's all I ask.

To back this statement up with actual facts(because that's what grown-folks do)....

Our offense averages 72.1 possessions per game. That's 12th in the nation and 1st in conference.

Our defense averages 72.1 possessions per game.
That's 333rd in the nation and last in conference.

More Offensive possessions = more defensive possessions.

More defensive possessions = more points for opponents.

OMG Y'ALL, FACTS AND LOGISTICS 'N shite.
