The 2019 class from MS will have 10 to 12 top 300 guys. Getting a commitment from Ealy this early is huge. While he will probably never play at OM because of baseball, he will be a great recruiter. There is chatter amongst the 19' guys that they would like to play together somewhere. With Ealy on board I feel confident about our chances to land Jones from NWR. I've seen where Jones is leading the charge to get everyone together. Players like Pickering, Young, and Russell seem to be on board with the idea. Turnage is from Lafayette, I would like to think that's one we can count on. Turnage is a top 150 guy. If we could get either of the top LB's in Starks or Dean it would be huge.

You have to work for Lafayette players as well. Alabama has ties to the school and there is a older segment that don't like OM. I think he ends up at OM, but it shouldn't be considered a given. My sister and his mom were really close friends in HS.

To be fair, have any of we good and true Rebals been able to have a modicum of excitement over in state recruiting since the Cam Akers sunshine session? At least going forward we don’t have to lie to ourselves about how an ongoing investigation is gonna frick us over. We’re in country club white collar football jail, and our in state competition currently lacks the coach whose trademark crootin’ ploy was a sleeper cell NSD “flip.” WAOM, but it’s hard to deny that we could and should be in play for what should be a very good crop of in state talent

I'm hearing alot of good things so far about the 19' in state class.. If we can pull half of the top 15 it will be awesome. I've heard Diwun Black may be on the verge of decommiting.

Yancy is more right than the fellow at Rivals named Russell. Here are the names he gave out about 2 weeks before signing day: Malik Henry (I'll forgive him on this one), Davion Taylor, Emerson, Jaycee Horn, Joiner, Ezzard (still hopeful) Lovett and Reed.
