I like Ryder Anderson, plus it is a benefit getting any defensive recruits at this point. 6'7 230 pounds, has a lot of room to grow into his body. Need to finish Breon Dixon now

Another big thing is that this guy plays for a big-time program in Katy, TX.

So... salt of the earth grinders per se?

Russell Johnson is pretty insistent that he will be committing in the coming days.
ETA: actually he just said he will announce his comment at the UAA game

Man, I have been away for awhile. Our fanbase has become incredibly depressing.

We've been waiting on you to show up with some positive news regarding our football team. Un-depress us, happy one.

I wish people would stop saying that about MSU. That team is young, but Jamal Peters, Leo Lewis, Jeffrey Simmons, Richie Brown and others aren't 3 star guys.
MSU doesn't get the elite guys we tend to get. It's. Otherwise close. But when it comes to the foundation guys what they get is 10x better then what we get.
It's often times boom or bust for our players. You just can't sustain with those horrible evaluations we have at times on the next up guy when the elite guy falls thru.

Do we have any really good talent evaluators on the team?

Honestly not sure. Probably not.

Ryder is in contact with Fellow former TX high schooler D'Vaughn 'Blue' Pennamon.
They congratulated/ thanked each other this morning. So thats a positive. We can partially thank Blue for this one I believe.
keep those texas connections.

Has anyone noticed Ryder's offer list? I mean he had offers from Air Force, Harvard and Yale. Tells me he is a hard worker. At 6'6 or 6'7 if he can put on 25 lbs and keep his athleticism and improve his fundamentals he will be a beast.

Harvard and Yale.

Not sure. It seems we evaluate some guys fine but then don't hold on to them. Raleigh Williams, Peyton Barber come to mind

Anyone know what 247 had to say about Trey Smith regarding us?
