It is rumored that Steve told a couple of people in private that he met with the NCAA concerning Ole Miss. Whether he did or not we can not verify. He could have simply been trying to be a hero to these people. We are simply telling you what has been rumored for a while now. My personal belief is that he did not meet with the NCAA. I believe he just has such a huge obsession and disdain for Ole MIss that he would go to these lengths (hiring a lawyer to get the letter public).
We do know this; If Steve met with the NCAA, and the NCAA investigated any of the matters that Steve gave them, it will be documented and eventually those documents will surface.
We would hope that the NCAA is more professional than to interview someone that is so biased and obsessed with OM like Steve.
I'm sure a lot of MSU fans will read this. But if a reporter of my school injected himself into the the NCAA investigation that would not make me feel comfortable.
When MSU was being investigation for the Will Redmond situation our site never brought it up one time. When our subscribers pressed for an answer my personal response was always, "I don't cover MSU recruiting. I have no clue."

A few things of note, here are some blue chip players in 2017 which go to High Schools that we heavily recruited and signed players from in 2016.
Jeffrey Okudah
5 star safety from Grand Prairie, TX. We just signed Greg Eisworth, his teammate, hopefully they have a good relationship to get a better in.
Derrick Tucker
4 star safety from Manvel, TX. We just signed D'Vaughn Pennamon & Deontay Anderson, his teammates. It seems like we have a good presence at Manvel, hopefully that gets us consideration.
Here are some from IMG, but obviously, take those lightly, considering most players from IMG haven't played with each other much and come from all over the country, regardless:

All I know about that group is when I went down and watched Shea play at IMG that DE Josh was a freak. I thought he was the best player on their stacked D last year.

We are a big favorite to get Walker Little. He has an older brother and older sister at Ole Miss. I think one of his parents went to Ole Miss as well

Walker Little may have the worst footwork of any 4 star OT ove ever seen... He's big and strong as hell, but he needs a ton of work
