He's most likely just telling us he's coming here to keep from getting harassed by the locals.

Jordan Scott chose Oregon over Ole Miss and Louisville after receiving the offer from Oregon and Taggart about a week ago. Smh He took officials to OM and Louisville.

Jordan Scott is a perfect example that these guys doing the crystal balls are guessing 3 out of every 4 recruits based off rumors. Didn't have one crystal ball to Oregon. Leading up to yesterday, every analyst was saying Louisville. Bartow gave us one right before the commitment. T.J Moore committed to Florida yesterday also and didn't have one prediction there on 247. CB's are a way for these guys to try to act like they know inside stuff and sell subscriptions to 247. Sometimes they do, most of the time they CB off the momentum they feel.

Don't buy into Akers to FSU as a done deal. Still feeling pretty good that he'll come here.

I hate when people say this. Two weeks ago he was on a official visit here wasn't he?

Well you have to admit, it's kind of strange when a guy picks Oregon after receiving an offer a week prior without having OV'ed there.

The more I think about it, the more I think Cam isn't coming here. Too many national writers all saying FSU and I took his twitter message saying his mom was 'frowning and then he turned it into a smile' as he picked another school but got her a sweet gift to cheer her up. Color me a pessimist at this point.

Why would you EVER be an optimist about Ole Miss in the first place

Watch out a glass half full approach incoming.

But maybe that meant he was leaning else where then told his mom he was coming to OM and it made her smile

If you're always pessimistic about Ole Miss, why even be a fan? It's a lot more fun being optimistic than always being a pessimist about things, especially college football.

I just don't understand what this staff is doing. One guy was 3" shorter and 30lbs lighter and anot her early enrollee was significantly out of shape? Then why the hell were we wasting time on him? Smh

I think Akers goes to FSU. Everyone is wrong but OM beat writers? I'm not buying it.

Last guess...he's OM bound. His dad is pro-FSU and he isn't going to factor into the decision whatsoever. Every single in-state source says it's Ole Miss.

Seems like whenever it isn't in Ole Miss's favor, the mother's choice prevails.

It would make sense that when it's Ole Miss that the mother favors, the mother's opinion has no impact.
